Seasons of New Zealand

New Zealand has four seasons like Japan.

Spring is from September to November. Temperatures rise and hours of sunlight become long. Grapes are harvested and start to make wine. Wine festival is held in many of grape-producing district. Festivals about arts, cultures and gardening are also held. Trees of fruit farms are in full flowers. Skiers enjoy last snow in the skiing ground.

Summer is from December to February. Summer is the best season that trekking and fishing and you can enjoy swimming, sun bath, surfboad and sailboat in the beach. There are long holiday spend with family include Christmas. People refresh in cottage and go to beach and enjoy playing cricket like baseball.

Autumn is from March to May. Autumnal colors of red, yellow and gold are beautiful season and there are many festivals. For example, Festival of Color and Wildfoods Festival. Temperatures go down but climate become steady.

Winter is from June to august. Winter sports are popular in the middle north island and south island. People can enjoy skiing in internationally famous skiing ground and can relax in hot spring. Also people enjoy shopping at shop of designer’s brand and eating dinner in first-class restaurant.

Festival of lights

I’m going to talk about festival of lights in Niagara Falls.


Niagara is illuminated by bright lights and trees and tower are decorated with colorful illumination. This scene is beautiful and wonderful!! Visitors can enjoy the scene with walking in the Niagara Park. And there is tower. This is the most nearest tower to Niagara and the height is 99meter. They can see Niagara Falls and illuminations from observatory. And they can have dinner with seeing these beautiful night scene in the tower. It’s very gorgeous. The festival not only seeing these beautiful nights scene but also they enjoy other events.


The comedy shows and the concerts are held in theater. And visitors can enjoy fantastic stage production of famous Disney story Beauty and the Beast. The show is like broad way.
There are original characters of Misty kids in this festival. Their names are Chilly Dog, Crystal Bunny and cool Cat. Visitors can see them in musical stage show. Also their goods are sold. The characters are favorites.


This festival is very beautiful and fun. You should go to the festival.

My favorite movie

My favorite movie is Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. It’s an adventure movie, and Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley and so on are in it. This is based on the famous attraction, Pirates of the Caribbean at the Disneyland. I have loved this attraction since I was child. The scenes there are in the attraction are also in the movie. I like to seek for same scene and I like music in the movie because I can become feelings in the Disneyland.

This is a story that when daughter of governor, Elizabeth have a gold medal that a boy rescued from sea had wore. That boy will haunt her house as a blacksmith. They are both attracted to each other but they have a problem of rank. One night, pirate ship Black Pearl attacked their city and Elizabeth was taken away. The purpose of captain Barbossa is her gold medal. Will had help from a pirate Jack Sparrow in prison and went to save her. Jack is one of parson who know bygone of Barbossa and he told Will that will’s father was a pirate in the Black Pearl. The Black Pearl cursed and pirates appear horrible shape at the night of full moon. Finally Will and Jack knocked down pirates, and Will saved Elizabeth and jack regained Black Pearl.

This movie is very exciting and funny and there are three stories. I like first story but second story is very funny, too. You will be able to laugh. Third story is difficult a little but you will be moved. If you don’t have watched this movie you should watch.
